Way Into the Gray Nature

Oh God! I'm lost; there is no where to go,
Amidst the dark clouds, even the trees do not seem to lend a follow.

No marks or marlins to guide the ship; so I move on,
Even the winds which carried us home; are now gone.

I see the soil, so smooth and brown,
But wait, what? My nose fails cause there's no smell,
Oh! I realized-its not bathed in the rain,
Oh! I lost the place again!

Proper glimpse of plants-so sharp, so lively,
But wait, what? there's no life within;
An acclaimed murderer who did his delivery
Dew drops no longer take there a halt,
Was it the only victim of the bolt?
Oh! I see, they feed on the lifeless fertilizers, and not to the sunshine they look,
They might have forgotten, that their leaves were the once the best cook.

I look at the gardens, still awake,
But wait, what? Are my ears failing?
Cause there's no sound of crazy grasshoppers,
No birds on the trees, or no bats wailing.
Bees left the roses, the sunflower stands without the stick of the sun,
No picnic stands, no bed of grasses, and neither the squirrels to spoil the bun.

(Written by me somewhere between 2008-2010. Though its half and I didnt continue to write it, but it made a beautiful smile on my face, and let me embrace the old me that went missing)

A wish

Sometimes, I wish I was God,
Not so to make the worldly ‘Big Change’;
Not so to pain the life with Rainbowy Perfection,
Nor to taste the junky old fame.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,
To walk everyday the unseen stairs,
To glance and hug a special thank you,
To the ones unseen yet always there.

Sometimes I wish I was God,
Just to cross the time of seas,
To cry and love a little louder
And relive the memories.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,
To walk the long lasting lanes,
And reach my lover’s homeland
And he’d never have to wait again.

Sometimes I wish I was God,
To have the Ginie’s effect over kid’s unsung prayers,
To make them live on the pretty flowers,
Also teach them to love the thorn, with it that hung.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,
To never see the parting ways,
And to find that magical trick
To be always there, and yet away.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,
To miss neither the party,
Nor the tears of-
Everyone I’ve ever loved.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,
To just stand still after working the things out,
And watch the children, lovers and mates-
Sing the songs of joy with every sunset.

I can't say Good-Bye

I can keep myself strong,
I can be here on my own,
But I can’t see myself, waking up all alone;

I can wait for a while,
I can bury the pain inside,
But how could you say me not to cry;

I know you cannot stay,
I know you went away,
So, how can I still live on this way?

I won’t again see you,
What’s life, I have no clue,
Could once again you can say I love you?

What if I give you rats and fish?
And promise to let you go to the trees?
Will you come back to me then, please?

This pain I can’t again stand,
To loose one of you, again
Come back! let this time it be different;

What will my gardens do?
What about your favourite umbrella blue?
Will you not say sometimes, that-'I miss you'?

I still remember the day you were born,
Till the day you ate your last corn,
The little whiskers I funnily teased,
The pats, so you were pleased,
The little finger that held me, when I was to move away;

On whose shoulders would you sit?
Who would force you, the ice-cream to eat?
Who will sing to you the songs?
Who will wake for you till long?
Whatever they say, but I know the mother’s lap is the best place you can stay.

I promise a better me,
I promise that you’d be free,
I will say all that you want to hear;

I know you love to hide,
And then sleep there by the side,
But baby, where are you now, I can no longer find.

I see the places you used to sit,
I know you’re not there and it feels so incomplete,
What’s my life without you; you’re the only thing I need.

I know this was your all,
I know this was your call,
May God bless you and may peace be the light in your soul,

Here’s the end to my song, no,
But I need a promise to me as you go;
Please don’t forget me ever and wait for me at the bridge over the rainbow;

I just want you to always wear that smile,
And I cannot stop my cry, but for you, I’ll try,
But oh baby, I can’t really say Good-bye.

The Re-birth

I was running from the dark,
In the search of some sparks,
The dark clouds above had surrounded me from everywhere,
So that I wasn't able to see any marks.

I ran, and ran with all my might,
But still there were the same things in the sight,
And somehow, between the dark sponges I thought,
I would never be able to reach the lights.

My bones had given the answer,
Only the things that made me run was my Soul,
The very guilt in my heart-"I was dark before"
Was the only thing to help me reach the goal.

I felt like I was running a marathon, with no one but myself,
But still the victory cup lay as far as it was before;
I felt like it was dusk- The sun I saw was going to set,
And heard the king of dark- The evil's roar.

Suddenly I saw a stone, which was shining,
As brighter as my guilty heart, which before was dim,
I found that the stone shone brighter and brighter
As my hope and faith increased in Him.

As it become brighter, I was forced to close my eyes,
My leg struck the stone and I fell from my fly,
I was on the grounds, not able to see anymore,
It was the end, I thought; the fruit of what I did sow.

I laid there helpless and unaware of where I was,
So, I tried and opened my eyes.

I saw a brown, wrinkled hand stretched out before me,
With no opinions in my heart left, I touched it gently;
It felt as soft as feathers
Then I realized, they were no one else's than my Almighty Father's.

He helped me stand up, as the wings does the bird,
I stood up and saw the beautiful ever garden of which I had never before heard,
And besides the enormous tree, underneath which I laid,
I found the same stone, which in my path had burned.

I saw up, and the bright had replaced the dark,
The sky carrying hundreds of birds and their barks,

I felt myself being born again,
I had the full energy as that of the rain,
I wanted to run, to skip and fly high,
Cause I was in the world, where there was nothing to lose nor to gain.

Then I turned and saw my soldier besides,
He smiled and said,- 'My child, here resides,
All my children, and my friends, and angels,
You too are welcome to stay here, and sit by my sides'.

'For every child is mine no matter what,
I'll always be here to forgive your mistakes lot,
I'm your creator, your Father. And whether or not,
you realize, I'll always be the guiding Shepherd to my goats'.

Waiting for you....

Its all about waiting and waiting…. For how long, I have no idea…..
All I have thought is, I’ll get all used up until I meet you.

Used up all the way, every scar I need to get, every hatred I need to pour out, every negative thing that’s ever gonna touch me in my life, I invite it right now, for when I’ll meet you, I just want to be nothing.
Just nothing and just empty like a water pot, with a hole from  where all the past things would flow away. And so that when I meet you, you can just cure that hole with your power  and  pour me with  your love and nothing else.

I want to come to you, like the lost and wingless bird, so that I can take shelter in your nest and fly again with your power of love.

I want to come to you as a crying stream, crying and flowing with all the mud and rocks that hurt me in my way and the dirt that ruined my pureness, so that I would just merge into your holiness, purity and just follow your way from then on and stay calm and lost  forever.

I want to come to you as a lost sheep, scared and running from the cunning world, with scars I’d get from  the dangerous wolves (with all due respect to the animals) and body all full of blood, so that I can stay in your warm hug forever and you can heal me and I would get the new wool again.

I want to come to you as a fallen autumn leaf,  torn and stepped on by the people, so that you may wash me with the pure water and keep me safe and warm in your book of life, which would make me green again.

I want to come to you as the drop of vapour, tired and lonely from the rest of the sea, and evaporated by the scorching heat; so that I may merge with you and transform myself into the again pure white pearl, to sacrifice myself to the earthly soil.

I want to come to you as a lost page, which lost all its writings and wisdom and crumbled by the people’s ignorance; so that I can be held up in your lovely soft hands and you may once again make me alive  with your love story.

I want to come to you as the breeze, lost and abandoned from the storm, so that you may feel me and I would be able to touch a thing so soft, and forever fill  your life.

I want to come to you as a flower, crumbled and stepped on, with the people from the other garden and the thorns from my own; so that I can stay under your feet as a blessed one and so that you can make me shine  again with the fragrance of your love.

I want to come to you as a tired traveller, frustrated of walking all the way in the scorched heat; so that I can forever end my  journey under your shade besides the holy pilgrimage and start a new saintly life under your guidance and shade.

And at last I want to come to you as a lost dog to his master, forgetting all about the days I spent in the pound and in the rusty, dark streets filled with scary people, so that I can live again with you forever, as I did before and again put that water logged stick in the mouth and run around in my heaven with you.

Always in love because of you.
In your wait, and anticipating the beautiful reunion of us.

Let your Heart Live!

You know why most people fail out?
Its because they never did what they liked,

They just did what the people around them would like to see, hear, read.
I don't at all favor the attitude-
'Give what the audience asks'
I must say, instead of giving voices to their needs,
Give the voice to your heart.
Let it speak, fly over the skies.
Sing your song, not others',
Write your thoughts, not the words for others,
Dance for yourself, not for those hundred eyes watching you.
Create a piece of art that makes your eyes glow out with happiness, and forget about the stares of others.
Don't let yourself be mum, when the God asks you-
'What you did for yourself?'
Love someone you truly want to be with, don't think of the comments of others
( As i disregard the comments of me loving a dog )
Run out to the new green grass...
God will be happier, if your heart's running with you..
And most of all, Earth would be a greater place to live in,
where the Farmer is happy singing the song, while he cuts out the crop,
the children are happy playing games and learning facts,
the poet is happily writing the songs of his heart,
where the only power ruling is
Happiness and Love.

There's No Good-Bye.

Like taking away pearls from the skies,
To make it rain again,
Sometimes, some hands are meant to be waving,
And life's no where for a while;

But my boy, be assured-
There's no Good-Bye.

On the grounds when the Autumn leaves fly,
You're assured the new pink babies are alive;
Still on the sand when your castle shines,
You know you got the place, cause others' were washed with knives.

So, there's no need to cry,
There's no Good-Bye.

Nights call and the day knows she doesn't need to stay,
She goes but she comes away;
You gotta go now, work time again, leave your dog in his den,
Still you kiss him, there's no need to say,

Cause he knows at the end, you'll make his food fry;
So, there's no Good-Bye.

Fat appetite in winter, Grasshoppers in June,
Old song 'fear' does go, but comes with a new tune;
Cries, mourning, grief and pain,
They don't last much, but they come again soon.

You can still catch your smile back if you try,
Cause there's no Good-Bye.

With Mommy..

I dig my legs in the hot sands,
facing the part of nature that stands;
With my mother on my sides,
Who ruffles my hairs, with the softest of her hands.

In spite of the darkness all above,
I can still see her face aglow with love;
The orange lights of the drowning sun,
Adds a graceful beauty to her face that touches every nerve.

As this sun, she too seems much older,
But as it is for the people, she's always been the same;
And as the sun rises everyday for the life,
She too is always there for mine.

She doesn't teach me A, B, C, D,
nor she teaches science to me;
But sitting there she tells me about the wide skies,
The great mountains, the wonderful animals and the deep seas.

Maybe she's illiterate,
But she knows the whole book of nature;
With which she guides me,
and which makes her my best ever teacher.

She holds my hands when I am not able to walk,
and stops my tears for a good inspiring talk;
She reaches whenever i need her,
With nothing to stop, not even the time of the clock.

When she smiles at me,
I feel the whole world smiling at me;
And with her hands of blessings on my head,
I feel myself bowing before 'HARI' (God).

Sitting there for hours and hours,
We'd look at the beauty of those tiny stars;
And also birds carrying home food, for their little ones
Like mom bringing for me, the chocolate bars.

Now many years have passed, I am no more a kid,
But all throughout  my life I've dreamed this;
That one day I'll have her back,
And we'll sit digging our toes in the front of the same sun and on the same beach.

Someday.....

Someday I might be there,
Someday we’ll be together….
Just like the rain waits for the call,
And to its mother earth she would fall.
.

Cold hours play by,
I still stay warm upon the sky…
For you… For you…
Like the wings of mother protect the baby’s cry…

I decorate in sweat,
The oceans, beaches, trees and grasses wet,
For your feet shall touch it one day;
And your life will then be all beautiful nights, with no sun to set.

But you’re still far away,
Don’t know whether I’ll be able to cross the way;
But I keep walking… to you,
May be someday I’ll find you…

Among the heavy trees, and high grass,
I still try to catch a sight of you as I pass,
Like a shepherd I play the tune, though now not with the flute,
In a hope u shall return as a lost sheep to its mass.

O! My snake, return to your master,
For I’ll play the music for you to dance till I die,
O! My flower, come back to shine,
For I’ll never ever allow the sun to fare good-bye.

Thus I keep walking on this very path,
And gather all the thorns and wounds;
For I know one day, we’ll walk this path back together,
With no pain, no wounds and no sorrow…..
