A wish

Sometimes, I wish I was God,

Not so to make the worldly ‘Big Change’;

Not so to pain the life with Rainbowy Perfection,

Nor to taste the junky old fame.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,

To walk everyday the unseen stairs,

To glance and hug a special thank you,

To the ones unseen yet always there.

Sometimes I wish I was God,

Just to cross the time of seas,

To cry and love a little louder

And relive the memories.

To walk the long lasting lanes,

And reach my lover’s homeland

And he’d never have to wait again.

To make them live on the pretty flowers,

Also teach them to love the thorn, with it that hung.

And to find that magical trick

Everyone I’ve ever loved.

Sometimes, I wish I was God,

To just stand still after working the things out,

And watch the children, lovers and mates-

Sing the songs of joy with every sunset.
